Okay even though I bitch all the time about conservatives, creationists, Ku Klux Klan-sians, and stupid people that I don't agree with at all, I love the fact that I'm an American and that I'm (for the most part) free.
Others would try to pin the "America Hater" on me because I complain all the time about stuff in this country that's screwed up. But that doesn't at all mean that I hate this country. Quite the opposite. I may hate the people who say I hate this country, but I love this country for all her quirks and flaws. I mean what country will let idiots like me and the Ku Klux Klan spout our stupid ideas with almost no repercussion?
Take the polar opposite, Russia. Russian authorities are looking to ban South Park, Family Guy, and the Simpsons!

I can understand why someone might hate South Park. It's definitely not a cartoon that is "clean" or "for kids". Even I don't agree with Trey Park and Matt Stone on all the stuff they put in their episodes. But I would never ever question their right to air it. In fact I think it's good that they do.
"Nyet!" says Konstantin Bendas, a pentecostal minister who went as far as to call the three programs "pornographic". Now take it from a guy that knows porn, I just don't see how he could've made that connection.
This is what happens when a government becomes too powerful and dissent is actively crushed and silenced. Not only can you not speak your mind, but the government takes away everything that would ever remind you that you once could.

I understand banning "the Family guy" cause it sucks and has awful comedy but South Park and The Simpson's is funny. South Park always has a good lesson after the show how stupid an idea really is by making it really obvious.
